To help you to get accustomed to the new website we introduce a number of clips about the inner workings of the site. Please take some time to view these clips. They will hopefully answer some preliminary questions.
You will need a program called ‘Quicktime’ for these clips. If your computer does not open de clips, you can download Quicktime here for free.
- Introduction front end. The first clip we would like to introduce is about the front end of the new website. The “front end” is what you are looking at right now. It is the actual website, partly accessible for everybody. The clip shows you around and explains navigation, the yellow buttons which can be found on some pages and logging in. View this clip:

- Roles and permissions. Besides a “front end”, there is also a “back end”. In the back end, people can add, update and delete data which can be shown on the front end. Only participants can access this side of the website. Before introducing the back end, you need to know about roles and permissions in the back end and in the project. View this clip:

- Introducing the back end. Now it’s time to take a closer look at the back end. In the back end you can update your personal data, upload and change papers and files and, depending on your role, change the content of the website. View this clip:

More instructional clips can be found on the back end part of this website.
